On Sunday, May 7th, join us for story time with Jessica Love, award-winning author/illustrator of Julián is a Mermaid. Jessica will read her three books: Julián is a Mermaid, Julián at the Wedding and her new book, A Bed of Stars. After the readings, Jessica will draw with the children, and be available to sign books. Books will be available for purchase from Oblong Books.

At 11 am, we’ll meet under the willow tree beside the pond (behind the Farmstand, towards the cherry orchard). Please bring a picnic blanket!

Jessica Love (Jess Love's website) grew up in Southern California, studied printmaking and illustration at the University of California, Santa Cruz, and then went on to study Drama at Juilliard. After working as an actor in New York for ten years, she pivoted to create her first picture book, the acclaimed Stonewall Book Award-winner Julián is a Mermaid. Jessica lives in the Hudson Valley with her family, and makes picture books.
